Using the complete sound track from the show and filmed live in Sydney, Australia 2006 during the World Tour’s first leg, this stunning DVD captures the art form of Ice Dance and allows the viewer to truly marvel at the skills of the Imperial Ice Stars. Superb sets, lighting design, Tony Mercer's direction and Tchaikovsky's beautiful music specially performed by the Manchester Symphony Orchestra conducted by Tim A. Duncan, together with a cast of 26 skaters - including Vadim Yarkov and Olga Sharutenko (Dancing on Ice) - combine to create a very special production. Filmed by Channel Zero and edited in the UK by Ambience and Simon Marsland, this 2 hour spectacular comes with an exclusive ‘extras’ DVD containing interviews with the principal skaters and an extended chat with Tony Mercer at SkyLab Studios. Further extras include a timelapse video showing the ice stage being created and trailers for the show.
