Unique in its conception, unique in the recording techniques used on the album and unique in being granted "the only musical project of its kind and therefore of great Christian historical significance" (the Vatican’s own words when granting the project “Iubilaeum” status) this CD features choirs from Armenia, Russia, Italy, Greece and England. With musical contributions in the UK by guitarist Steve Morris (Ian Gillian) and keyboardist Steve Millington (10cc), and orchestral arrangements by Peter Whitfield (Manchester Symphony Orchestra), the whole project took 3 years to complete and was released in 2000 to critical acclaim. Recorded and mixed by Tim A. Duncan at Parr Street Studios, Liverpool, during 1999 all recording of choirs was uniquely done live and on location, in their own churches, adding to the sound and performance. A simply outstanding album.
