Dave Alexander, one of Manchester's most original and respected drummers and original member of Mirrortown. Influential bands like The Out, A Conspiracy, Durritti Column and The Green Three have all benefited from Dave's unique and inventive style.

Dave studied Chemistry at Manchester University and whilst achieving his PhD, took up Drum's. Touring with The Out, major support slots with bands like Sad Cafe, ensured his style and reputation was fine tuned. Embracing modern sampling techniques and working in his own studio, Dave works on Mirrortown projects not only as a Drummer, but as co-producer with Tim A. Duncan. He is Tim's second pair of ears when finalising music for Mirrortown commissions. Dave has regularly worked as Drum technician to The Pixies having completed several European tours, and almost single handedly ensured the smooth running of The Ross Theatre, Edinburgh during the 5 weeks festival in August 2004, acting as Stage Manager.
